In my response, I will send you a quote for the workshop/WOW day/show plus travel cost with no hidden extras and await your confirmation.

There is no need to pay a deposit at the time of booking.

The invoice will be sent soon after the booking is made to yourself and your accounts payable person.

Normally payment will need to be made 7 days before my arrival at your school. This helps cover travel costs and any supplies that will need to purchased for your booking. If there are any issues regarding this, I will be happy to dicuss alternative arangements with the person who makes the payment.

We can certainly discuss a suitable schedule so all the pupils get the same experience. For the most part, the WOW days work best having a class per session apart from the joint hall times.

The Creative Puppet workshop can be adapted for a three form school in one day by making the training time a bit tighter with three sessions in the morning and then in the afternoon three making puppet sessions. If this is the case, a charge is added to the normal cost to cover additional puppet making material and extra training session.

However, the best in my opinion, is to stretch it over a day and a half. You will receive an additional discount for the third workshop.

Yes, but it is only a piece of scrap/paper to be used as a tray for the children so they can carry their puppet designs to the glue station. One piece of paper per child please.

Yes, absolutely as all workshops, shows and WOW days are all assessed for safety and any risks involved. I used to be a Health and Safety officer for a distribution centre, so it is very important to me. Available on requests.

I would normally arrive 7:00 am ish in order to carry all the equipment, staging and materials to the performance area. Once everything is in, then it normally it takes up to an hour to get ready the show/workshop or WOW day.

I will give a courtesy call the day before to ask reception to let the caretaker know the time of my arrival. It is important to let me know where I should set up the show and which classroom I will be in.

It really depends on what your school is interested and often there are promotional discounts.

It can be anything from £337.00 to £457.00, sometimes less or more depending on travel costs involved. I try to keep it to £5 to £6 per child.

I will always send you a quote before you confirm the booking, which will always be in writing.

Yes, that would be possible as a guest on PayPal. I will send you a link and follow the instructions and be sure to untick the box, if you don’t want to joing PayPal.

I was involved in training others in Theatre in Education based in the Midlands for over ten years. During that time there were 3 TIE teams travelling the UK with 3 new productions a year.

At the same time, I personally developed my skills as a magician and achieved Master Puppeteer status. This served as a stepping stone to start a business in creative education and family entertainment.

So over 20 years of working with teachers doing the workshops, shows and WOW days is assurance you can trust that it will be quality, age specific and curriculum based.

Also my acting expeirence helps to do the various characters and especially on the topics, I would take an actor’s approach in research of the subject.

I love history too!
